My Flower Beds

This afternoon Me, Mom & Harleigh spent about 4 hours working on my flower beds. It was a lot of hard work but they turned out really good and I can't wait to watch everything grow!

Fort Worth Zoo

Today, Mom and I took Harleigh & Rylee to the Fort Worth Zoo. (Thank you Kathie for the tickets.) It was extremely hot and the Colonial was also going on so the parking was crazy. We some how had a great time considering! We walked the entire zoo and rode the train so the girls were pretty whipped afterwards!

Welcome Baby Boldin

Today my good friends Jason & Sharie gave birth to their second child. I wasn't able to be there this time since I couldn't get off work but went to visit as soon as I got off and everyone was doing good! Sharie is such a champ because once again she did this all natural. Wow! Well, congrats to the two of you and he sure is a keeper! Boldin Lee Barnes

Memorial Day

Today we spent the holiday over at Jarrod's uncles house and had a wonderful time. We had great food, swam, fished, went boating and jet skiing. This was Harleigh's first day on a jet ski and I could barely get her off. We even went airborne over a wake which scared the crap out of me but she said it was fun. So cute

Today we went to Harleigh's t-ball game and then drove up to Lake Bridgeport to spend the day with The Russell's and The Tidwell's. Harleigh and Katie went tubing behind the boat for the first time with me and Tara on as well. They are so brave and had so much fun! Gage, Harleigh & Rylee

This afternoon Harleigh and I went and picked up Gage and headed to the park. They always play so good together. We only stayed for about an hour though because of the heat and it is only May. Ugh!

90 Minutes in Heaven

Tonight we went up to our church to listen to the testimony of Don Piper. He is the author of the best selling book 90 Minutes in Heaven. It was awesome! I highly recommend anyone of you out there to pick up this book and read it and if you ever come across a chance to listen to him in person than do it! It is one powerful message!

Kindergarten Round-Up

This afternoon was Kindergarten Round-Up for the EMSISD. Harleigh and I were so excited to finally see the inside of her soon-to-be new school. When we were walking up to the front doors I just stared at her. She looked so small. Then when we finally entered into the cafeteria and saw all the teachers it brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe my little girl is starting Kindergarten. I just know that the first day of school will be a tough one for me. I am a huge softy when it comes to Harleigh. After we got home we had to get her ready for her first baseball practice. This year she will get three coach pitches and then will hit off the tee if she doesn't succeed. Once again, she seemed so much more grown up to me at practice even though she was still the littlest one there. She did a great job overall at catching and hitting off the tee. Now we just have to practice the coach pitches but hopefully she will pick up on that real soon. After practice we quickly ran over to watch Jarrod finish up his softball game which they once again brought home the win. Congrats boys!

Harleigh had her last soccer game this morning and they did awesome. Their team went undefeated all season!

Sushi and Martinis

Tonight, Me, Mom, Cindy and Ann went out to celebrate Cindy's last day of school! We first went downtown to Piranha's Sushi Bar and had martinis and sushi. It was Mom and I's first time eating sushi and we loved it. We all shared the Wasabi Crusted Salmon Roll and the Sexy Roll (this is my favorite). After Piranha's we walked over and went to The Vault Underground Lounge for more martinis and appetizers. Then we finished off the night at Pearls in the Stockyards! Cindy, Mom, Ann & Me
