What's for Dinner?

I guess we would say....fish. Ha ha! Jarrod went fishing out on the lake today after work and surprised us with this catfish. Yummy! Harleigh thought it was the coolest thing and was right next to Jarrod's side as he skinned it and I thought it was the grossest thing since the poor fish was still moving the whole time. Yuck!

Date Night

Me and my sister-in-law Lauren

Last night, we went and enjoyed dinner downtown at Cantina Laredo with Jarrod's sister Lauren and her boyfriend, Sean. The food was really good and I was stuffed afterwards. After dinner we went out for a couple of drinks and had a great time!

The Three Amigos

Rylee, Harleigh and Collin hanging out today at Leah's baby shower. These three also just started playing soccer for the YMCA and are all on the same team. We have been having practices every Monday & Wednesday and our first game will be on the 28th. Harleigh loves it and I can't wait to see how they all do with only ONE ball instead of their own one at practice. It should be a crack up!

Mommy and Daughter Day

Today, I went and did my blood work and hopefully in a week or so we will know our results. Please pray that all turns out well and that we can hopefully start trying for another baby soon! After the doctors office, Harleigh and I went down to the stockyards. We got there just in time to see them herd the longhorns down the road. Harleigh has never seen this before so it was pretty fun to watch her reaction. After that we ate at Risky's BBQ and then went to the Candy Barrel for some desert. Yum yum!

Late night game

Last night Jarrod had his first softball game and it was a late one. He is playing in the Tuesday night Men's Softball League in Saginaw. The game was at 10:00. This is usually my bed time. Harleigh and I got our showers done before we went so we could go home and go straight to bed afterwards. At about 10:30 the cold front came through and the wind really picked up. We ended up watching the rest of the game from the car. The guys did great for their first time playing together but still got beat. Oh well, maybe next time. They lost 38-29! I think the wind had a big part in the high scoring game. Harleigh, Gage and Sophie

The cutest lil' dog ever!
