More exciting news!

Today we found out that we are going to be the proud aunt and uncle of yet another precious niece. Jarrod's sister Jessica and her husband Jay are expecting their third adorable child and it's a GIRL. Congrats to the whole family and we couldn't be more excited.

Found out today that my cousin Nick and his wife Jill are having a baby BOY! Yeah....so happy for you two and glad that the Jasa name will be carried on again. How exciting! Now we just have to wait for lil' Mr. Butters to get here. Ha ha!

Holiday Weekend

Wow, did we have a busy weekend or what? Friday, we headed down to Lake Granbury to spend the day at Rod & Brad's parents house. We bobbed in the lake all afternoon and evening watching the kids jump from the dock and go down the water slide. It was so relaxing and fun was had by all. Yesterday morning we got up and headed back to Fort Worth so we could spend the day with his family out on Eagle Mountain Lake. We got to his Uncles place around 3pm and did about the exact same thing we did on Friday. Float, eat, swim, sip, visit and of course this time we had an awesome fireworks show! Today we got up and went to say goodbye to everyone and then went to visit my parents. Mom ended up taking Harleigh out shopping so Jarrod and I went up to the Spot to have a few drinks on the patio. It was kind of nice to just get away during the day with just us two. After that we headed back over to my parents and had a great dinner. Now we are worn out and ready for bed!

Jarrod's 28th Birthday!

Today was Jarrod's 28th birthday and we had a great time. He opened his presents from Harleigh and I at home before we went out to eat. Harleigh got him some new cologne and I got him some new reefs and new swimming trunks. He enjoyed it all. We then took Harleigh over to my parents and met Ali and Rod at the Baja Grill. OMG....this place has the best food and the strongest margaritas we have ever had. Thank you Ali and Rod for the wonderful dinner and a great time. After we left here we went back to my parents and had cake and Jarrod opened their gift (Texas Longhorn Washers). Then we finished the night off over at his dads with all his family that have come in for the holiday weekend. It turned out to be a very wonderful and fun night!

Today is Harleigh's 5th birthday. I surprised her at school with this cookie cake and had a little birthday celebration with her and her school friends. Then we had to get home and quickly get ready for her family birthday party. What a day!
