4th of July in NE

This morning we went to church in the pouring down rain. Ate lunch, laid around and wondered if we were even going to get to celebrate the 4th. It was a rainy rainy day. We took our chances and went up to the firework stand & bought Harleigh some more things to pop off. It was a muddy mess in that tent. Finally, the rain stopped & the party was still on. We headed over to my aunt & uncles and spent the rest of the evening there. They have a 4th of July party every year so it was so much fun to see everyone. Fun Filled Day in NE

Today was a very very busy day! First Jarrod got up early & headed out to golf with Jan, Jack & Nick. While he was gone we visited Margie, Jared & Logan, went to see the donkeys, played & hit up the fire works stand. After naps we then headed to Jack & Cheryl's for dinner (Valentino's Pizza), popped fire works & hung out. Harleigh & Rhett on the old wooden horse

Road Trip to NE

Today we made the long 10 hour road trip up to Nebraska. Jarrod drove the entire way while I took care of the kiddos. Harleigh sat up front to keep Jarrod company & I road in the back with Rhett. Rhett did awesome for having to be in his car seat so long. Just a couple fussy moments but for the most of the time he just slept. Harleigh did great also & we only had to stop twice along the way. Once we got there we visited & then Jack, Cheryl, Jared, Lindsey & Logan came over for dinner. We had grandmas yummy meatballs & cheesy potatoes. Then some dessert afterwards for Jarrod's birthday.
