After school fun

Today, was my first day back to the OR. So that means it was a very early morning for us. I left the house at 5:45am, Jarrod was then in charge until Amy shows up to let him go to work at 6:15am. Amy then has to get Harleigh ready & off to school by 7:15am along with taking care of the two babies. So I told Harleigh if she was good for Amy & helped her out as much as possible then she could go swimming after school. Well, Amy said all went good so after a busy day in surgery I loaded up the kids and we met Sharie up at their community pool. We stayed until 8:30pm. If was relaxing but I am completely pooped! Rhett's 1st time to the pool & sound asleep

Two month check-up

Rhett had his two month check-up this morning and has grown like a weed. He now weighs 11lbs. 9oz. (50%), is 23 1/4in. (75%) and his head circumference is 39cm (25%). He checked out wonderfully and also received his DTap, Polio, Hib, Pneumococcal & Rotavirus vaccines. OUCH!! I had to stop and get some Tylenol on the way home because they said he would probably be very fussy & feverish. Poor Baby!

This past month ...

~He went on his 1st road trip to Odessa
~He attended his 1st Texas Rangers game
~He met all my co-workers
~He visited Harleigh at her school
~Is very more alert & attentive
~Has better head control
~Is smiling & cooing
~Is sleeping 6-8hrs at night
~Is drinking 5oz. of formula every 4hrs.
~He loves his pacifier

Kindergarten Ceremony

This morning Harleigh had her Kindergarten Completion Ceremony. I wasn't able to attend since I am in orientation up at work. Auntie Brooke, Gigi & Great-Grandpa were there to support her though and she was thrilled to see them. Harleigh said she was so nervous to walk across the stage but she did it. How funny! Harleigh received three awards....Excellent Citizenship, Kindergarten Completion & the Maverick Award. Way to go Harleigh and off to 1st grade you go ~ so proud of you! Harleigh & Auntie Brooke

This weekend my grandparents came to Texas for my cousin Adam's graduation. This was also their first time meeting Rhett & Trevor. Wish they lived closer instead of miles away!
