Ranger Game & Saginaw Carnival

Today was a very busy day for me. Early this morning, Harleigh & I had to go pick up her cookie dough & distribute some of it out. This was her fundraiser for cheer leading this coming fall. After that, I had to meet all the girls downtown around noon to head off to the Ranger game. A group of us girls from high school do this once a year. It is fun to catch up with everybody & just have a day to ourselves (without kiddos). Jarrod kept the kids all day & then when I got home from the game, we headed up to the Saginaw carnival. Raquel, Gage & Reagen came with us and the kids had so much fun except for the very first ride we put them on. It was hilarious...it was the one that you just stand there & the floor falls out because it is spinning so fast. Harleigh & Gage were screaming, crying & couldn't move. Funny for us but not them! Harleigh is such a great big help. She constantly wants to hold her bubba & loves moving him from his swing, to bouncer, to bumbo. Here is Rhett in his bumbo for one of the 1st times. He is getting very strong with his head now & can sit in it for about 10 minutes before he looks like he needs a little help.Harleigh & Rhett

Happy Father's Day!

Today was a great day! We got up early & went to church. Then we headed over to my parents for lunch. Jarrod & Harleigh ran to Academy & Cabela's and then we took Harleigh swimming. After that we took Jarrod's dad out to dinner at Boo-Rays! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in my family! Jarrod & the kiddos

Dance rehersal

Today was Harleigh's dance rehersal & we had one heck of a day. We were supposed to be at the Will Rogers Auditorium at 2pm but for some reason both Sharie & I had the Fort Worth Convention Center in our heads. So our dumb butts are walking around the convention center looking for everyone & then finally realize that we are completely in the wrong area. So we all took off running back to the car & quickly zoomed across town. We ended up not even getting to the Will Rogers Audiorium until 2:45pm. Luckily we made it just in time. We were a nervous wreck though because it was stated in our instructions that if you missed rehersal then you wouldn't be able to perform at Saturday's recital! Sharie thought she was going to have to fight someone over the whole situation. It was hilarious! Me & Harleigh

Trip down south

We headed to Austin today to come visit Jay, Jessica, Cohen, Emery & Harper. We left after Jarrod got off work & ended up hitting really bad traffic all the way there. We didn't even arrive until after 8pm so it was a short night. Gigi came with us and was a great help with the kiddos. Jarrod's mom was also here so it was nice to see & visit with her!
