Off my feet again...

Well, I thought I was going to have it good from now on but that didn't last long. I worked a full day Monday and 12hr. shift yesterday. About 5:30 last night, I used the rest room up at work only to find myself losing a bunch of blood again. So scary! They paged my specialist from the front office and lucky me, he was just on the next floor over. After another sono, baby looks wonderful, amniotic sac is full, my placenta looks attached nicely but there is still an edge of it that is bleeding. So I am off again for the rest of this week and he said I can try to go back to work again next week. What an exhausting roller coaster ride this is!

Put your hands up....

That is right....I think this might be the last drop on The Baggett's roller coaster ride! Yesterday, was so much better then Tuesday but I did continue to spot a little. Today, was my day off and I was glad to sleep in. I took a bath around noon and had an unexpected surprise while I was in there. I passed some bright red blood and a bunch of tissue. Yuck! So I called Dr. Wiley's office but they were closed for lunch so I just went ahead and called Dr. Tabor's office. When his nurse called back she said he wanted to see me but he was at the hospital today. So off to maternal observation we went. My appointment was at 3:15 so we arrived around 3 only to find out that it will be awhile because Dr. Tabor has an emergency c-section to do. 4:00 ................... 5:00 ............... 5:30 ................. 6:00 ................... 6:15 they finally called me back. Holy crap! Well, after all of this waiting we found out good news instead of bad. My placenta has completely moved off of my cervix and everything that I was passing was just from that and other old stuff hanging out in there. He is very confident that after this bleeding stops that I should be blood free and onto a normal pregnancy. AMEN! He ordered me off me feet for the rest of the weekend and then I may resume to normal activities again on Monday. Maybe, our prayers have finally been answered!

I think I am going to die!

Today, was awful! I went back to work on one of the busiest days and was slammed. I did 6 cases (surgeries) in a row and finally finished them around 6pm. My lower back was absolutely killing me so they let me go shortly after that. I was almost in tears. I guess after being on my butt for 2 1/2 weeks that standing for 11 hrs. would be pretty tiresome. Can't wait to go to bed but already dreading tomorrows long day. Hopefully, it won't be as busy! My spotting has continued but is dark so that is good. Goodnight!

Fingers Crossed....

Today, I had another appointment with Dr. Wiley and since Harleigh didn't have school, we all got to go. Ironically, I started to spot again this morning. I mean really....can you believe that? Just when I thought I was completely clear of any blood, it happens again. So needless to say, I went to this appointment very discouraged. After talking with Dr. Wiley for awhile, she felt it to be okay to let me start work again tomorrow but if my spotting turns into bright red blood then I am to call immediately. This is exactly what I was wanting to hear and I am so glad that I don't have to stay on bed rest anymore. Bed rest is not fun by any means and I couldn't even imagine being on it for months at a time. After that, we went into the sono room and Harleigh finally got to see her baby brother. Yes, it is for sure a BOY! Daddy is very proud. Peanut was all over the place and looked to be doing great. They said my placenta looks like it is starting to move off of my cervix and that my cervix looked wonderful. YEAH! Now, I just have to get prepared for my 12hr. shift tomorrow! Thanks to everyone for all of their prayers. We really appreciate it!

A morning of bad news

First.....my mom calls to tell me that Brooke no longer has her kitty Cali. They took Cali to the vet yesterday because she was breathing bad. The vet told them that Cali had pneumonia and probably wouldn't make it even if they kept her over night. So poor Cali is now up in Kitty heaven. Brooke and Manse took in Cali and her sister Sadie this past May. So now lil' Sadie is all alone but hopefully she will adjust very soon. We will miss Cali and I will have to break the bad news to Harleigh when she comes home. Harleigh is always on top of taking care and keeping up with all of our pets.

Second.....Jarrod calls me with even worse news. He found out this morning that one of his dads cousins decided to take his own life yesterday. So we would like to extend our love out to all of the family in this time of sadness!

Appointment w/ Specialist

Today's appointment came as a little surprise. I was going into this appointment thinking that I might just be having surgery on my cervix very soon. But by surprise, my cervix looked great. Instead, he said I have a placenta previa which means that my placenta is low in the uterus and blocking the cervix. As I continue to grow, he hopes that it will move into normal position. In the meantime, he has sentenced me to one more week of bed rest. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck! He would like me to go one week with no spotting/bleeding before he will let me return to normal activities. So, cross your fingers that all will go good this week. So far, I haven't had any spotting since Sunday morning. Yeah!

Boswell Cheer Clinic

Harleigh attended the Boswell Cheer Clinic today and had an awesome time. Sharie's little girl Rylee and Harleigh's other friends Elle and Mya attended also. The girls were up there today from 9-1pm learning there routine for next week. They will be performing next Friday night, right before the Boswell Football game starts. How exciting since this is also the weekend for my 10 year reunion. Hopefully, I will be able to participate in all the fun!

Update: I am doing good, no cramping and barely any spotting!

Doctor Appointment

Well, my doctors appointment didn't go as good as we liked. Peanut was doing great and just having the time of his life in my uterus. He wouldn't show Daddy his junk though so still no real confirmation for Jarrod yet. Oh well, there is always next time. As for me, it looked like the placenta lake had gotten a lot smaller so that is good. As for my cervix, she could tell there was either fluid in it or that I could possibly be starting to dilate internally. She then checked me vaginally and said the external os of the cervix is closed but she doesn't like the fact that my cervix has softened some. Oh great! So now I am ordered to more bed rest until my appointment with my specialist on Monday. He will then decide my fate. Bed rest or no bed rest? Stitch or no stitch? Until then lets just pray that what we see is just fluid in my cervix and that Peanut doesn't decide to come out to early! What a long and dreadful weekend this is going to be........Ugh!
