Happy Father's Day!

Today was a great day! We got up early & went to church. Then we headed over to my parents for lunch. Jarrod & Harleigh ran to Academy & Cabela's and then we took Harleigh swimming. After that we took Jarrod's dad out to dinner at Boo-Rays! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in my family!

Dance rehersal

Today was Harleigh's dance rehersal & we had one heck of a day. We were supposed to be at the Will Rogers Auditorium at 2pm but for some reason both Sharie & I had the Fort Worth Convention Center in our heads. So our dumb butts are walking around the convention center looking for everyone & then finally realize that we are completely in the wrong area. So we all took off running back to the car & quickly zoomed across town. We ended up not even getting to the Will Rogers Audiorium until 2:45pm. Luckily we made it just in time. We were a nervous wreck though because it was stated in our instructions that if you missed rehersal then you wouldn't be able to perform at Saturday's recital! Sharie thought she was going to have to fight someone over the whole situation. It was hilarious!

Today after Jarrod got home from work we took the kids over to my Uncle Ben & Deborah's house to go swimming. I just picked up Rhett a new life jacket today and he just loved being in the water. He was so relaxed that he mostly just slept while floating. It was hilarious!

Trip down south

We headed to Austin today to come visit Jay, Jessica, Cohen, Emery & Harper. We left after Jarrod got off work & ended up hitting really bad traffic all the way there. We didn't even arrive until after 8pm so it was a short night. Gigi came with us and was a great help with the kiddos. Jarrod's mom was also here so it was nice to see & visit with her!
