Rehearsal Night

Tonight we had Brooke & Manse's rehearsal and dinner. We all met at the church at 5 and then made our way to Fossil Creek Country Club for the dinner. Harleigh started to run a fever so we had to make a pit stop in between the two to pick up some Tylenol. Hopefully tomorrow she we feel okay! It was so awesome to see all of our out of town relatives tonight! Wish we could of hung out with everyone after the dinner but we had to bring Harleigh home to get some good rest since she is the flower girl tomorrow. So cross your fingers that all is well tomorrow!

Emery's 1st Birthday Party!

Yesterday, we left early in the morning and headed down to Austin, TX for our niece's first birthday party. It was so good to see all of Jarrod's family when we got there. Pete rode down with us. Lauren had driven in the night before, along with Jays parents and Rhonda flew in yesterday morning also! Cohen & Harleigh were inseparable as soon as we arrived and had a great time enjoying each other's company and little Miss Em was cuter than ever! We had yummy enchiladas for lunch and a homemade cake (thanks to Jessica) to follow. After cake, we opened presents and then rested and relaxed the rest of the afternoon. Brookes Bachelorette Party

Last night we had Brookes Bachelorette Party and everything turned out great. We started out having her lingerie party at 4:30 in our hotel suite at Hampton Inn. Me, Kama, Bride to Be & JenniferBrooke & her presentsBrooke & all her sexy lingerie

After our little party at the hotel we had 6:00 dinner reservations at Zio's Italian Kitchen. We had a really nice time here as we had an area all to ourselves.

Next, we headed to Pete's Piano Bar in downtown Fort Worth for a night full of fun and laughter!

After our night of fun we all crashed back all the hotel and Brooke said she had the time of her life!

Lufkin, TX

Well, we just got back from Lufkin this afternoon. Me, Jarrod, Mom & Dad left yesterday to attend Brooke & Manse's Couple Shower last night. The shower turned out awesome and their were so many people there to help celebrate. They also got an abundance of wonderful gifts. Mom and I ended up leaving around 10:30 and headed back to Brookes to call it a night. We left Jarrod & Dad with Brooke & Manse. The four of them had a "fun" night as none of them went to bed until 3:30. Needless to say, Mom & I were in charge of the drive home! I still can't believe that their wedding is only three weeks out now. How exciting! Now we have Brookes Bachelorette Party to look forward to next weekend! Harleigh stayed over at her Mimi & Papas last night and had a blast. Yesterday, she played all day long with Katie & Gage and then today she attended church and went to visit her Nana! She said she had so much fun.

Doctor Appointment #2

Today has been a great day so far. Harleigh and I left this morning and attended my second appointment. They checked my blood pressure which is good and went over all my labs from my last appointment. They all were good also! After we did all of the check-up stuff we headed down to see little pip squeak. Little 'Pip' was moving all over the place and very active. We saw all the arm and leg buds as they were just flapping away. 'Pip' even looked straight at us and waved, Harleigh was grinning from ear to ear. It is amazing to see how much bigger the baby has grown since the last appointment. The heart beat was beating strong at 171bpm. Needless to say, we are exactly on tract and everything looks great thus far. Yeah! Our next appointment is scheduled for February 4th and this time daddy gets to make it. How exciting! The doctor is going to attempt to tell us what it is but it might still be a tad bit early. We'll see!

...3-2-1 Happy New Year!

This new year's eve was pretty hard for me since I caught the nasty cold that has been going around. I didn't even think I would be able to get out of bed to go and celebrate. I was a trooper though, with a pocket full of tissues and the other full of cough drops. We made our way to Leah & Roddy's house for a few hours and then joined Alison & her family for the new year. I don't know if I was much fun to be around but at least I tried. Harleigh spent the evening with Grandma & Grandpa and spent the new year over at the Bozarth's. They live on Lake Worth Lake so Harleigh got to enjoy the firework show! Hope you all had a wonderful time and Happy New Year!
